Amanda Burchmann Founder, Livestock Producer and Consultant
Hi, I’m Amanda, the proud owner and founder of JAB Agri Solutions. I established this business to bridge the gap between small producers, hobby farmers, and the broader industry, creating stronger connections with supply chains and regulatory bodies.
Growing up, I spent my childhood droving cattle with my grandparents in the drought-stricken Southern Downs of Queensland and helping my dad cart livestock across Queensland and Northern New South Wales with Fraser’s Livestock Transport. Today, I run a small beef breeding and trading business that reflects my deep passion for the industry.
Re-entering the red meat industry came with its challenges, especially around new regulations for traceability and biosecurity. I developed my own templates and systems to navigate compliance and quickly realised that others faced the same struggles.
That’s why JAB Agri Solutions exists: to provide small producers and hobby farmers with accessible education, practical tools, and affordable compliance solutions to meet NLIS and LPA requirements.
My mission is clear: to support small-scale farmers (hobby farmers) in achieving their dreams of land ownership and sustainable red meat production while protecting the livelihoods of larger producers, employees, and the supply chain that underpins this vital industry.
Balancing roles as an agribusiness manager, bookkeeper, cattle producer, and breeder has fueled my passion and commitment to the red meat industry. At the same time, raising three energetic boys who share the same deep love for the land — and I'm thrilled to share this journey with you.

Matt Brown Facilitator and Livestock Consultant
Matt Brown is the founder of Brown Cattle & Country Consultants, based in Rockhampton, Queensland. With a lifetime of practical experience across diverse cattle country in Queensland, Matt brings deep insight into livestock production, grazing management, and business development. His work spans breeding program design, land condition assessments, cattle marketing, and artificial breeding strategies. Matt has helped countless producers improve productivity and profitability through tailored advice grounded in real-world experience.
Matt has over 20 years of facilitation experience, working with producers, industry groups, and government bodies. He’s led workshops and training sessions across Australia on topics ranging from staff engagement and leadership to breeding objectives and land management. Known for his direct, practical delivery style, Matt specialises in peer-to-peer learning environments that build capability and drive action in grazing businesses.
Through Brown Cattle & Country Consultants, Matt supports cattle producers to make informed decisions that improve long-term sustainability. He is also a key partner in collaborative ventures such as Heartline Grazing, helping develop markets for Wagyu and crossbred cattle while integrating genetics, data, and environmental credentials into business planning.
